To avoid negative impacts on the environment when the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) has problem or wastewater characteristics after treatment cannot meet the regulated standard, the Law states: \u201cWastewater treatment plant with the minimum capacity of 500 CMD must have the system of incident prevention and response\u201d. Emergency pond which has a function of storing wastewater or circulating wastewater treatment highly ensure no wastewater discharged to the environment in case of problem of the WWTP.<\/p>\n

With the credibility of Vietnam \u2013 Singapore Industrial Park Limited Company (VSIP), Duong Nhat was continuously chosen to be the general contactor for the Project \u201cDesign and implement emergency ponds for the Wastewater treatment Plant 3 – VSIP II-A with volume of 20,000 m3 and Wastewater treatment plant 2 \u2013 VSIP II with volume of 12,000 m3 in VSIP Binh Duong\u201d after the Project \u201dDesign and Implement the wastewater treatment plant 2 \u2013 Phase 2 \u2013 Capacity of 5,000 CMD (STP2 \u2013 Phase 2) in Vietnam \u2013 Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP II)\u201d.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The emergency pond is built on the compacted soil meeting all technical standards for construction, lined with geotextile and waterproofing HDPE and installed with the air and ground water collection systems that ensure the long-term sustainability and stability for the pond structure. The circulation pump system circulates wastewater which does not comply with standard to the centralized WWTP for retreating before being discharge to the environment.<\/p>\n
