Recently, Duong Nhat commenced the commissioning of the Song May Industrial Park Centralized Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), with a capacity of 5,000 m³/day. The project was developed by Song May Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company, with Duong Nhat serving as the EPC General Contractor.
Song May Industrial Park stands as one of the key industrial zones of Dong Nai province. Due to the rapid growth of factories in various industries such as mechanical engineering, textiles, plastics, packaging, and food processing, the volume of wastewater discharged into the environment has been increasing significantly, which requires the centralized treatment system to be retrofitted and expanded to ensure stable treatment capacity and compliance with national technical regulations.
Having been retrofitted and upgraded by Duong Nhat, the Song May Industrial Park Centralized Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) achieved a treatment capacity of 5,000 CMD, adhering to the National Technical Regulation on Industrial Effluent – QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT, Column A. After several months of construction, the system has started receiving wastewater and conducting trial operations to ensure the effluent wastewater meets discharge standards.
The wastewater from factories in Song May Industrial Park is characterized by high pollution concentration, with BOD, COD, and total nitrogen indicators exhibiting significant fluctuations. The existing treatment technology needs to be renovated and upgraded to meet operational requirements. As part of this renovation and upgrade project, Duong Nhat has redesigned the entire treatment process. This modern approach maximized the utilization of existing unit plants to optimize the system’s footprint, and applied advanced anoxic–aerobic biological and physicochemical technologies, enabling the efficient treatment of wastewater with high and variable pollution loads.
Notably, the system is designed with an orientation toward wastewater reuse after treatment, in line with the current trend of sustainable development and the Circular Economy Principle in industrial parks.
