Duong Nhat Tour, in collaboration with the Faculty of Environment at the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), organized a practical field trip to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world engineering projects. The program aims to help students gain a clearer understanding of practical work in the field of environmental technology and strengthen the cooperative relationship between Duong Nhat and the University.
This program welcomed Dr. Truong Thi Cam Trang, MSc. Vo Thi Tam Minh, and 41 final-year students from the Faculty of Environment – University of Science, VNU-HCM, on a site visit to the Centralized Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) of My Phuoc 3.1 Industrial Park, where Duong Nhat serves as the EPC Contractor and Becamex IDC is the Investor.
Throughout the site visit, Duong Nhat’s engineering team introduced students to detailed project components , the operational process of the plant, as well as its role in receiving and treating wastewater for the entire industrial park and surrounding areas. The content was presented in a scientific and visual manner, enabling students to gain a clear picture of a modern wastewater treatment plant.
In addition, the program provided useful information about career opportunities in the environmental sector, helping students equip themselves with knowledge and orientation for their future careers.
To help students consolidate their learning and experience during the trip, each student will write a post-visit report about the field visit to the My Phuoc 3.1 Industrial Park Centralized Effluent Treatment Plant. Duong Nhat will select the most talented report for a special award. This is not only a material incentive but also recognition for a serious learning spirit, observation, analytical skills, and the ability to link theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
The Duong Nhat Tour field trip concluded successfully. In the upcoming time, Duong Nhat will continue to scale up the Duong Nhat Tour program, coordinating with more faculties and universities in Ho Chi Minh City to reach more students.
